Menards has a FABULOUS rebate program. In the Menards weekly ad there are almost always items that are free (or cheap) after mail-in-rebate (MIR). The mail-in-rebate comes in the form of a Menards store credit check. The check can then be used to purchase other items at Menards. They have a really quick turn around time too. I have never waited much over a month to get my rebate check. You can easily roll the checks. I recently bought cat litter bags and doggie poop bags that were all free after rebate. When the rebate arrived, Menards had a TIGI hair product sale (they were free after rebate also) so I used the rebate check to buy the TIGI products (didn't have to pay a single cent out of pocket for them). Now I'm waiting on the TIGI rebate check to arrive. It is a fun way to stock up on household necessities or stock pile Christmas gifts without spending a lot of money!
